Complete Cottage Re-design and build
In 2002 Bradford was contracted to complete a cottage renovation at White Lake. The owner was concerned that the existing foundation was no longer
stable and felt it should be replaced. Bradford, having experience in rural contracting given its previous log home construction, was able to
raise the structure and create a foundation that would last long into the future.
The owner was so thrilled by the first phase of the project, that Bradford was then asked to replace the original exposed deck with an
screened in porch. This phase of the project was completed using post and beam construction, tying the addition into the existing structure
so that it appears as though it had always been there.
Bradford then replaced the existing roof to match the new addition, using a steel roof that is not only beautiful, but maintenance free. The
final phase of the project was to build a wrap around exterior deck, and to re-side the cottage. Both of these projects were completed using complimentary
finishes that tie the multiple renovation projects together.
